Written Academic Communication for Business Studies Working with and toward reading and producing academic texts for use in the academic and professional worlds. Taking a "writing process" approach toward improving writing skills, students learn and practice writing a variety of types of written texts including: reports, email, CV, persuasive texts, cover letters and make one presentation. Course grade is comprised of a presentation, various written assignments in and outside of class and "continuous assessment." Students must attend 80% of the course meetings and must complete all assignments including an in-class course exam on Tuesday 3 July 2018. The in-class test must be passed to complete the course. It is a pass/fail course requiring a grade of 3.0 to pass the course.
